Throughout the year 2010 some of our meetings will not fall on the first Sunday of the month. Please mark your calendars to note these dates for our meetings:March 7, April 11, May 2, June 6, July 11, August 1 ( picnic) , September 12, October 3, November 7, December 5.
We look ahead to Saturday , March 6, 2010 ( the day before our next meeting) when we will again be represented at the Cape Cod Community College International Fair. You can enjoy a wonderful day of ethnic dances and foods and costumes by coming to the college on Saturday. It can be reached by car by exiting at #6 on the Mid Cape Highway. Then follow the directional signs to CCCC.
We hope this year to use our presence as a fund raiser for our society by selling Polish-made items. And we hope to see some of you there on that Saturday. Mark your calendars. If you have any Polish -made items that you no longer want and are willing to donate to the society, we can arrange to pick them up and they will be used at our sale table in the vendors’ area. A grand parade of flags opens the ceremonies in the auditorium at 11 o’clock and there are continuous musical and dancing performances until mid afternoon.
We expect that the society’s roster will be ready for our meeting in April. If you have not yet paid your dues please do so today!
