A big THANK YOU to all who helped make our Easter celebration a suc- cess. The food you all shared with each other was wonderful and the pa- rade of bonnets was truly elegant. MaryLou’s table decorations were festive, Richard’s tribute to the airplane disaster was moving, and it was good to see Jeanne Risley, and Lori Phelan-Swan and Joe Banas up and about. And finally, THANK YOU, STEVEN for setting up, waiting on tables, and passing around ice cream even though it was the first day of the Red Sox season.

The scholarship committee , Ann Kane and Irene Conrad, and the board of directors met on Tuesday, April 27 at the Hyannis Library to determine the recipients of the awards.

Again a plea for helpers in the kitchen! Barbara Sosnowski has come forward to help and we need at least two more people to be on a permanent committee for this year. Being the hostesses can be wonderful if there are more hands . Won’t you please lend a hand (or two)?

MAY 29th – Tag Sale to Benefit Polish Society at the Brewster Council on Aging on 6A. Call MaryLou Dzanovich if you have items to donate.Thank you, ML, for planning this event.
